BeforeUdig is a new service that is coming to the UK, the service assists contractors/excavators in the process of requesting plans for their upcoming work sites.

This service dramatically reduces the time taken to contact each of the infrastructure owners because you only lodge your details once for each dig location, beforeUdig then sends each of the infrastructure owners a notification of your intended work site. The infrastructure owners will then send you the relevant plans or instructions for your work site.
